It was a beautifully clear and sunny winter's day on the Gold Coast, the sort of day that is the envy of those from cooler southern states at this time of year.
Instead of being locked in a meeting room teams of elite corporate event planners from around the country were being hosted by the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, and were out and about during their own tailored Amazing Race Team Building challenge. The race was staged in and around the funky GC precinct of Broadbeach (or "Broadie" as the locals refer to it).
The GCCEC staged a sensational famil and showcase of all that the fabulous Gold Coast has to offer including the vibrant Oracle complex with its upmarket shops, cafe's and bars.
Sabre tailored an Amazing Race format as a novel means of getting teams to not only have fun, engage with one-another and compete, but also to see the great sites and attractions that the Gold Coast has to offer corporate conference and incentive visitors for team building, meeting, dining and liesure.
As if the buzz of Broadbeach, its beach markets and the many vibrant cafe's wasn't enough fun, the beach that day was simply postcard pretty and served as a nice final checkpoint before heading up to dine at one of the great restaurants in the Oracle precinct.
A tailored Amazing Race can be a great format within which to explore all that the Gold Coast has to offer, as well as being a useful team building Gold Coast experience for your people.
