Sabre's Vietnam War era Jeep used for Miss Saigon Musical Launch

Usually Sabre's military vehicles are deployed as themed props for team building events and programmes, but occasionally they get exposed to some Broadway and Hollywood style glitz and glamour.

Recently one of our vehicles, an M151A2 Mutt Jeep, was used by the Gold Coast Arts Centre to help launch their spectacular new production of the Musical "Miss Saigon".

Removed from its usual place of residence in our vehicle workshops, the Jeep was used as a centrepiece amidst the colour and excitment of a spectacular opening night surrounded by dignitaries, celebrities and exotic Vietnamese cooking stalls.

Miss Saigon is a truly great show, and it was very fitting to have this Jeep as a prop as the Jeep itself was actually used in the Vietnam War. It was captured in 1975 then imported by Sabre in 2008 for our vehicle pool to be used in corporate events.

If you are on the GC and keen to see a good Musical, get into The Gold Coast Arts Centre and see Miss Saigon.
