Super A Mart's recent national conference on the Gold Coast was boosted by one of Sabre's most popular team building activity concepts, The Kon Tiki Challenge.
A keen group of 240 store leaders boarded coaches at The Sofitel Broadbeach and headed to the beautiful lakeside lawns and beaches adjacent the Gold Coast Arts Centre.
Greeted by Sabre facilitators the teams were briefed for the challenge and issued with the materials and blueprints to build robust and seaworthy vessels for a series of competitive race heats.
Once building had been completed, teams selected and equipped their valiant crews, then lined up their handcrafted boats waterside for a hotly contesed series of heats.
A final race was backed by the soundtrack of screams and cheers from excited support crews motivating their crews.
The Kon Tiki Challenge is a great outdoor team building activity and we were fortunate to have a classic beautiful sunny Gold Coast day for the A Mart crews who did a sensational job of their boats.
