Recently Pack & Send leaders and managers from all over Australia gathered on Australia’s beautiful Gold Coast at the QT Hotel for their national conference.
Sabre had the great pleasure of delivering the team building component of the conference in the form of a highly tailored “The Agency” team TV commercial making challenge.
Teams were formed and allocated a regional specialist manager to inject highly relevant business themes and issues for inclusion into their ads.
A series of skills workshops were held around the hotel before teams were issues with cameras, tripods, sound and FX gear and costumes, makeup and wigs for the scripting, story-boarding and execution of their own productions.
Once all team films were safely “in the can”, then a VIP judging panel of senior managers selected the very best films for the coveted “Golden Gnome Awards” for the gala dinner screenings.
The Agency is a great team building process that also provides somewhat of a blank canvass and a bit of a “Trojan Horse” for important business themes to be creatively envisioned and explored.
This was a wonderful team of people who did a truly cracking job of their ads by managing creativity, planning and execution beautifully. Well done Pack & Send!
