Where should we hold our Gold Coast Team Building?

 

The Gold Coast being Australia's holiday and business tourism playground it's often hard to pin down just which great locations to include.  There are just so many to choose from these days.

 

Sabre's head office is actually located right here on the Gold Coast and so we certainly know many great and memorable locations to plan your team activities Gold Coast adventures. 

 

The Gold Coast Broadwater and foreshore areas are great for water based challenges, as are the many beaches and sheltered lagoons that can be found around town.

 

Surfers Paradise CBD or Broadbeach CDB areas are also highly novel with plenty of active streetlife and colour to tap into, as well as vibrant shopping and cafe precincts.  This can be a great backdrop for "out and about" challenges such as a Gold Coast Amazing Race, Quest or Agency TV Ad making challenge.  

 

The lush green rainforests and national parks of the Gold Coast Hinterland such as those found at Springbrook, Lamington National Park, Numinbah and Mudgeeraba also serve as great backdrops and locations.

 

The fact that the Gold Coast is also the host city for the 2018 Commonwealth Games gives it an extra buzz and sense of excitment.  There is also a great deal of new infrastructure being built to help host the Games, which means even more venues and locations for this great destination.

 

Things to be careful of for Team Building Gold Coast?

 

Queensland summers can be very hot and sometimes very wet.  This makes planning for some wet weather options a great idea.  

 

Outoor Gold Coast options are certainly popular as it's just such a beautiful destination, but having back ups never hurts.  The further out from your team event delivery date that this is discussed with us, the better of course. 

 

There are plenty of great indoor options for team events and challenges that will work at virtually any of the great Gold Coast Hotel and conference venues, as well as many that will work both indoors and outdoors.

 

The Gold Coast City Council is a very "event friendly" Council when it comes to corporate team building and events on the Gold Coast, but even so it's always well worth getting all of the required permits and permissions when using the many great public parks and beaches.
